Today I thought I would share with you one of my FAV things! If you have not read this book put it on your list to do!! I have personally pretty much memorized it with the amount of times I have read it! 
I know you may be thinking is that a 1973 I see in the corner…yes. It’s an oldie but a goodie! I think I have every book written be Madeleine Brent and they are all good but this one and Tregaron’s Daughter are by far my fav!! Enjoy!

Photo 101 – Capturing Your Life’s Memories
Do you own a Digital SLR? Do you set it to AUTO Mode and leave it there, not understanding what all those other buttons do? Do you want to learn how to take amazing photos yourself?
Well then, this is the perfect workshop for you!
This workshop is all about you and helping you to feel comfortable with your camera! With some basic understanding you will be able to create amazing images yourself capturing your everyday precious moments! I am going to make it simple and easy for you so that you walk away feeling more confidant and creative!!
This 3 hour workshop is set up to be relaxed and informative. I will provide you with a few take home notes to refer back to in the future, but don’t forget to bring a pen for yourself. As well, light refreshments will be provided.
This is a one day workshop for those with little to no photography experience. This workshop is NOT for the Professional Photographer.
Where – London Westmount Library
(3200 Wonderland Rd South in front of the Athletic Club, near Southdale)
Date – February 4th, 2012
Time – 1:30pm-4:30pm
Cost – $75/person + HST
What To Bring – Your camera with charged battery, memory card, and your manual if you still have it. And don’t forget to think about some of your own questions/concerns. (even make a list so you don’t forget)

Wow I missed 2 days!! 
I need to get back on track here! It has been a very busy few days but with not too much excitement! Here is a quick one from Friday that I was going to post with my hubby playing with my two nieces! We love being the fun aunt and uncle. We have two nieces right now with one more on the way in less than a month!! Fun times!

Today was a good day even though it was nasty cold and rainy here. We took my niece Bre to the Market where she got to ride the “horse”. I remember when these use to be a quarter, now they’re a loonie…can you believe it!!

Well, as you are all well aware of from my previous posts my hubby’s brother and wife are expecting their first child!! This is going to be the first child/grandchild/great-grandchild on both sides so pretty exciting stuff!!! It was a blast to take their maternity photos last week and I can’t wait till next month when we get to meet the little girl!!! YEPPY!!! So here is just a little sneak peek at their maternity session last week……ok maybe not so little….LOL I couldn’t decide on just a couple of pictures! LOL
Due date is coming quick even though it feels like just yesterday they told us they were expecting!!
I am just so excited for them!!

Today I had an exciting addition added to my office….LOL Not everyone will appreciate this but I have been admiring this phone at a dear friends for many years now. Today I was at her house for a knitting lesson…..(working on some new prop hats ) and over tea she was telling me that she use to work for bell a long time ago and that the phone use to be her mothers. She knows I have always admired it and said she would love for me to have it!! It’s even my fav colour!!!
